Socialism is basically flawed and doomed to failure.

Socialism or communism is essentially flawed because it does not take into account human nature. Politicians selling themselves by promising all kinds of free stuff like education, food, housing etc. and paying for it by taxing the most productive of society, the people that take risks and build businesses, the inventors, the creators and anyone with imagination and INCENTIVE.

That is the key word, INCENTIVE. Why take the risk, put in the hard work, make a successful business, if much of your reward is taken from you and distributed to less productive people? At the same time, people that  receive these freebies have less incentive to work hard and rise out of poverty. If you read the background of many millionaires, most came from working class families. Many of the richest companies in the world now, started in someones garage.

If socialism is ever instituted in America to the extent as the admitted socialist politicians want, it may work for awhile but then the money runs out because no new wealth is being created. There is little incentive to work hard, shortages of everyday items like food become scarce . So eventually the economy collapses and production grinds to a halt because there is no incentive to produce.

The only way a socialist country can maintain order is to totally oppress the people and take away all rights and only the leaders of the socialist government have all the power and the people have none.

What has capitalism done for the people? Before 1776, American Independence, technology had not advanced that much for thousands of years. But now, there was a free people allowed to use their imagination to create. The light bulb, the steam engine, cars, planes, computers and the Internet all created and produced originally in America, which in good faith shared it with the rest of the world. These accomplishments brought a better quality of life across the world. Many of these brainwashed college socialists would not be alive today without American inventiveness. Capitalism also depends on competition which forces companies and individuals to make a better product which again benefits the people.
