Well, the big election is over and both sides claim victory. The republicans retain control of the senate, for now. There seems to be some kind of voter fraud as mysterious uncounted ballots suddenly appear and they all marked for the democrat. So even republican senator victories, a shadow of doubt is caused to their authority. So, the winner in this split decision is the democrat party. Now they have control of the House and all the power that comes with it. You can bet that they will use it relentlessly to harass and hopefully convict Donald Trump of something.
That fact alone undermines Trump's power on a grand scale. America has enemies, entities that hate America. Who may now see a weakened president and may try to call his bluff. There are many places around the world that America's military could be tested. They know that if America's military is confronted the democrats and their partners in the news media would immediately attack Trump. As if it was his fault for the crisis. Even if in this theoretical conflict , American forces were the victim. The facts would be twisted to make Trump look like a fool, that he is trigger happy and wants war. And with all sorts of anti war demonstrations which the enemy watches and calculates that they have an advantage over a weakened president.
This will cause all kinds of conflict within the country, like the Vietnam War, when the communists saw all those anti war demonstrations, they knew time was on their side. But this time I fear the conflict within America will be much more violent.
How the escalation will progress, I cannot predict. But the America that saved Europe from itself in 2 world wars, that brought freedom to the ordinary person which opened their creative imagination that brought the world from the middle ages to a modern society with it's many inventions by ordinary people and shared it with the rest of the world.
