Senator Joseph R. McCarthy: Scoundrel or Hero?

The most vilified, hated and ridiculed character in American history is Senator Joseph R. McCarthy from Wisconsin who served from 1947 to his death in 1957. The term "McCarthyism" is in reference to Sen. McCarthy's  demonic, reckless and unsubstantiated accusations of being communist sympathizers by members of the government and major American institutions. He believed America was in a showdown fight with the Soviet Union. McCarthy was quoted as saying ," this is not the usual war between nations for land area or material gains but a war between two diametrically opposed ideologies.

McCarthy felt that many affluent Americans held a communist ideology, that he believed was immoral, with it's goal " to bring down the United States of America from within". His hunt for communist within the US government and elsewhere led to suicides, blacklists and demolished careers.

But was he correct?

Now in 2013, no one calls themselves communist, at least not in public. But the ideology lives, which is essentially,atheistic socialism. So let us take a look at what has happened to America since 1957.

During the Vietnam War, which was a battle within the Cold War, a very well organized anti-war movement sprang up in their opposition to the war and other American institutions. The US was portrayed as a aggressive military power, invading a 3rd world country for their resources. The news media, Hollywood and the universities intentionally undermined the war effort and never gave the point of view that this was a battle within the Cold War and at the time The Soviet Union was on the move.

While the news media, Hollywood and the universities preach diversity, they banish anyone that does not share their agenda. Over time only those that adhere to atheistic socialism, or lie and say they do, are promoted and hired.

Forgotten by the left was the Soviet invasion of Hungry in the 50's and the invasion of Czechoslovakia in the 60's. Debating communist sympathizers in the 60's and 70's, they stressed the positive aspects of a classless society. Of coarse, no mention that everyone was poor in the Soviet Union except the politicians. Also ,no mention of the tremendous shortages of everyday items, like food etc., that most Americans took for granted. They ignored the fact that a "Iron Curtain" was installed around the Soviet empire to keep people in, otherwise there would be a mass exodus to evil Western capitalism.

After the fall of the Soviet Union in the 1990's, I thought the debate was over, but atheistic socialism is a godless religion and it's believers will never give up on their quest for power. They co-opted liberalism and the democratic party. Without a super power to save them from capitalism they resorted to "political correctness" to intimidate and control the "useful idiots".

As atheists, they don't have to worry about any morality, they have the freedom to lie, slander and ridicule any opponent in the political arena. They are constantly caught in contradictions because they mask their true intentions such as: advocating for poor Americans but encouraging wholesale illegal immigration ,which creates more poverty among Americans. They do not care about the poor or illegal immigrants but lie to them to get their vote and gain power.

Now,we have a government that uses the power of the  IRS against any opposition. They have instituted a health care insurance scheme that gives them more power but little benefit to the people. If they really wanted to help the people they would have worked on lowering health care cost but instead they went for control and lied to the people on the benefits. Atheists across the country look to sweep away any public displays of religious belief and they do this with government support.

So, was Senator Joe McCarthy a prophet? Did he get a raw deal?

Bad deal with Iran is appeasement!

Now we have an agreement with Iran, that the administration says will delay their nuclear development . You have to worry about any agreement from a country where parts of it's military chant "Death to America". Make no mistake about it, this is a fascist state  on the march similar to Hitler's Germany. God help us if history repeats itself.

Back in the 1930's , before WW2 started, England thought they had an agreement from Germany, that they would not conquer anymore territory, it was the Munich Agreement of September 30, 1938.Of coarse, Hitler broke the agreement and invaded Poland, which started WW2. Hitler also had a non-aggression agreement with the Soviet Union, the Soviet-German non-aggression Treaty of August 23,1939. He broke that one also and invaded the Soviet Union.

Hitler used these agreements to play for time until his military was ready to take on the world. I fear that is happening again. Iran will use this relaxing of the sanctions to appease it's suffering population and bring their nuclear program closer to a nuclear weapon.  If this happens, the world will never be the same.

Once Iran has nuclear weapons, they would be unstoppable in their quest for an Islamic world. So even though they would just have a few nukes and we with thousands, they would be immune from a conventional attack because they could wipe out any US carrier force with just one nuclear bomb.That means, the around the clock bombing that the US was able to use in non nuclear wars,like in Iraq, would be obsolete, because without carriers the bombers would have to fly from the US all the way to Iran. I don't think any neighboring country will let us fly out of their country for fear of being struck by Iran..

At this point they could run havoc throughout the world and blackmail the west into giving in to their demands. Because the west is outnumbered 100 to 1 in population compared to the rest of the world, our only option would be to use our nuclear superiority to initiate a nuclear attack. The west has no stomach to do this unless Iran used it first, which it will never do.

The US is in a awkward position with a discredited administration telling us that everything is going to be ok.

Is this the change you want?

The American people voted for change and that is what they are getting. There are three items in the news that signify change but is this what you want?

First: The Catholic Church will be required, under Obama care to provide free birth control, sterilization, and the morning after abortion pill for their employee's through the church's health plan.

To abide by this mandate, the church will have to go against their religious beliefs. This is a terrible mistake by the Obama administration. The Catholic Church will not honor this mandate and resist it by all means, through the courts and if they are rigged , on the streets. This is an attack on religious freedom a foundation of our constitution and American way of life.

Birth control would be available elsewhere but forcing a institution to provide a service, that is against their fundamental religious beliefs, is akin to a dictatorship and not a free nation.

Even if you are a atheist, this blatant crime against FREEDOM should unite believers and non-believers.

Second: The next item is related to the first. An article in the NY Times ridicules the American constitution as a outdated antique. Supreme Court Judge Ginsberg is quoted in the article as saying that the South African constitution is the ideal constitution. This from a judge sworn to abide by the AMERICAN constitution in her legal decisions.

Their conclusion is that the American constitution does not provide enough rights such as: food and health care. When the government guarantees food and a job it is socialism and is doomed to fail. Look what is happening in Europe, their whole entitlement society is coming apart because socialism does not take into account, human nature

Third: The next item is also related to the other Two. In order change America by trashing the constitution, the atheistic socialists need votes. Votes from anywhere, from Americans and from illegal immigrants to tip the balance in their favor.

It is no coincidence that pro-illegal people are the same ones that say, showing state issued identification is somehow unfair.

Why would anyone consider it unfair to ask for ID in order to vote in elections? So they can cheat, simple as that.

Now, the Obama administration is establishing a federal agency to advocate for illegal immigrant rights. So, the same government that is required to enforce immigration laws, will be an advocate for people that break those laws.

This may come as a surprise to some people but most of the super rich are also the most active liberals. Think about it, do the rich care about high gas prices? No, they use the enviroment as an excuse, but they favor high gas prices to keep YOU off the road.How much does it hurt the rich if gas is $10 a gallon. Why is every attempt to harness this country's vast resources hampered by enviromentalist who claim to do it to save the planet? Yes ,they want to save the planet just for themselves.

Do you know what the ideal population that the rich enviromentalist strive for on earth? 500 million, that's 6.5 billion less than now. So they push for population control for the masses but not for themselves. They can have as many children they want because normal restrictions that you and I are subject to, do not apply for the very rich. They want you to be childless and die young.

Why are liberal politicians against school vouchers for poor people? They say it would take money away from public schools but they don't send their kids to public schools. They don't care if your kid's education suffers and for the children that have no choice, school becomes a survival test everyday. Why, because the teachers' union contributes heavily to the democratic party.

The rich favor illegal immigration because it gives them a cheap labor force and enables the Democrats to cheat on elections. Why do rich liberals say it is unfair to ask for identification to vote. They say so because some people are not able to get id because they are sick or can't get to the dmv. Do you really think they care about that handful of people? No, they do it so they can cheat. Without id, a person can vote many times and doesn't have to prove they are citizens.

This morning, Sunday, I got up to watch Meet the Press and This Week on ABC. I wanted to hear some thing about that Solyndra deal which on the surface seems like a scandal for the White House. I don't know if it really is a scandal but it was hardly mentioned by either of the two moderators. A couple of guests did bring it up but the moderator quickly changed the subject back to what Obama can do to get re-elected.

I would have liked to hear more about the Boeing deal that may send jobs out of America because Boeing wants to move to a work free state, that is a state within the United States that does not require union membership to work but The Obama administration is trying to stop them. Why? To appease the unions even though, if Obama is successful, Boeing may move out of the US. So, on the surface it seems Obama cares more about his union contributor's than jobs for all Americans.

Now my beef is with the mass media and not Obama. Why do I have to  search the Internet to know what is happening in the world? Why is Tv news now just a department within the democratic party?

Who can doubt if a republican president was involved in giving stimulus money to a company that they championed and also received campaign contributions and then went bankrupt, who can doubt that they would be broadcasting this potential scandal 24/7 ?

OK, we went through for a couple of years of debate on health care and  ended up with Obamacare. It was a nice try but it is not going to work because it does not attack the main problem with health care and that is the cost.

Up until a few years ago, most large companies provided free health insurance for their employees and their families. When I first came out to California in 1982 my family and I were covered by Screen Actors Guild after I did a couple of guest spots on TV. I maybe earned $6,000 my first year in Los Angeles. That little money I earned qualified me for full insurance. That meant not only me but my wife and the birth of my daughter in 1983. Now an actor has to earn $27,000 to qualify.

So what changed? First of all, there has been a massive immigration from Mexico of poor uneducated people who, for the most part, get at least maternity care for free.Also, they use the emergency rooms for minor ailments and are not required to show ID. If they get free health care then somebody has to pay for that care or the hospital goes out of business. And who is that? You pay for it when you get medical care with insurance. The hospital is going to bang your insurance big time to pay for free care.

Also, we have to reduce the demand for health care. How do you do that? People should not be encourage to seek medical care for every ache and pain they have. The medical industry constantly tells the public they should get annual exams and test for everything,prostrate,breast ,you name it and there is an annual test they tell you to come in and test. Of coarse the doctor, like a car mechanic, is going to find something that you will need medication for that may do more harm than good. These test and medications are not needed for basically healthy people. In fact, if you want to stay healthy, keep away from the medical industry unless it is an emergency.

I am now 72 years old and I cannot remember the last time I went to a doctor for anything and I have full coverage. Yes, I am lucky to be healthy at my age but I do things for myself that keeps me away from doctors

Fist of all, exercise is the most important. Why, I don't know but the body rejuvenates itself after a good workout and maybe builds the body better than before the workout. Next is good food. This is common sense to have a balanced diet and with exercise and some moderation you don't have to diet to keep the weight off. In fact, a lot of these fad diets are bad for you because you are denying your body of nutrients that it may need.

I hear people say they don't have any sugar or carbohydrates but if you are successful in denying yourself of these foods ,you would die.

Also, medical mistakes ranks in the top 10 reasons why people die.

So, in conclusion, common sense a little knowledge of how the body works can keep you healthy and away from the Medical Industry.

Is muliculturalism good for America?

The idea of multiculturalism reads good on paper. Different races and cultures living together in peace and harmony. Who wouldn't want that? But unfortunately in countries  where there is a mixture of different cultures and language, there is constant civil war and sectarian violence.

While America has had and still has many faults, it makes every effort to correct them.The beauty of America  is that anyone can be an American.All religions and cultures united in one language and culture. It was once called "THE MELTING POT" That is what brings diversity to a society.

We have a problem now with poor uneducated people  flooding into the country illegally and, for many of them, have no desire to assimilate. And these cowardly politicians cater to them just to get the Latino vote no matter what damage is done to society. All they care about is keeping those lucrative,fun and powerful jobs.

It is soon to be signed into law that illegal aliens will only have to pay in state tuition to go to UC colleges. That means that a American citizen coming from another state pays more than a illegal alien. Also the illegals will be eligible for tuition grants which means poor American citizens may not get the grants because the money will go to illegals.

One of the disasters in the school system in America today is that they no longer teach American history. Kids grow up not knowing how lucky they are to be in America .

If recent immigrants cling to their old culture and language and have no allegiance To America, they will separate into different enclaves that will clash with each other as they do everywhere else.
