I have made a huge mistake over the years trying to convince people, with a negative view of America,how wrong they were.I tried to explain to them how America brought humanity from oppressive monarchs to democracy.America saved them from where, outside of the elite aristocracy, the people lived in poverty and oppression and if born that way, they were destined to suffer this depravity for the rest of their lives.With no hope for a better life no matter how hard they worked or what they did. In the history of mankind, it has only been in America, where an individual from the lower classes can rise up and challenge the elites to supremacy without violence.
The covid-19 crisis has finally convinced me, that there are essentially 2 different kinds of people in America.There are those that religiously obey all the changing orders from government officials, no matter how extreme. They are ordered to close most businesses, you must stay inside your home, close all the schools, beaches, parks and anywhere else that people may mingle. If you must step outside of your home, you must wear a mask. No professional sports, no theater, just stay home with the bored kids which could lead to domestic violence.
These people embrace the restrictions and where the mask as a badge of honor.. They gleefully report anyone not practicing social distancing or for not wearing a mask. These people seem to be of the liberal persuasion.It is not a coincidence that cities and states, run by democrats, not only strictly enforce all social distancing orders but try to prolong the lock down as long as possible, no matter the economic damage that America may never recover..In these democrat strong holds, if you go out of your house to empty the garbage, you can be arrested if you forgot your mask.
Then there is the other type of people that are resentful of these restrictions on their freedoms, that they have taken for granted their whole lives. These people went along with these restrictions at first but became suspicious as the scientists, who we are told to listen to and obey, kept changing their predictions of massive hospitalizations and death. .These people rebel against this loss of freedom and the destruction of the American economy .They believe this crisis and lock down will eventually cause more death and destruction that covid-19 This group, while some may have grown up as democrats, are now firmly pro Donald Trump and republican.
Deplorable educates the brainwashed
